In response to the epidemic situation on campus, NSYSU reminds all faculty and staff to pay attention to epidemic prevention precautions.
Dear faculty and staff,
With the concerted efforts of all Taiwanese, Taiwan's epidemic prevention work has performed brilliantly, minimizing the influence of the epidemic. With the efforts of everyone and the NSYSU Coronavirus COVID-19 Disease Prevention Team, our school has maintained a normal campus life and working environment, which has been maintained with no confirmed cases for 809 days. However, the number of confirmed cases continues to increase recently due to the highly contagious Covid-19, and there will inevitably be confirmed cases on campus.
Last night, there was a faculty test positive, once received the news, relative departments spring into action immediately, and relative contacts were also informed to take rapid tests so that the outbreak would not continue to grow on the campus. For the case, faculty and staff do not need to worry about it, all the contacts had been informed to take tests and have quarantine according to the CDC and MOE’s regulation.
Due to the confirmed cases, part of the students shall be temporarily suspended from class for 3 days, and the school had informed relative teachers to suspend classes or have distance learning. For the teachers and students who haven’t received suspension information, please continue to have class and pay attention to pandemic precaution measures, and please do not eat or drink in class.
We are obliged to remind please remain good personal hygiene, wear masks, cover your mouth when coughing and sneezing, and follow pandemic precautions and regulations to protect the campus.
As for the individuals who have been to the venue visited by the confirmed cases or have been asked to do Self-health Monitoring, please fill out the form on “NSYSU COVID-19 Reporting System” (website: http://sis.nsysu.edu.tw/OOSMS/gform/oosms_gform_login.php)
With the efforts of all Taiwanese, Taiwan's epidemic prevention work has gotten through crises one after another. Although this confirmed case has brought some shocks to the campus, we believe that with everyone's cooperation, we will be able to back to normal soon. Please continue to be cautious, support and care for each other, work together for Taiwan's epidemic prevention work.
Sincerely,
NSYSU Coronavirus COVID-19 Disease Prevention Team
